Ibb - Saba:
The Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit, in coordination with the local authority in Ibb province, launched on Monday the distribution of 10,000 bags of cement "Phase 7" to support community initiative projects in several districts in the province.
During the inauguration, the Secretary General of the Local Council in the province, Amin Al-Warafi, explained that this support comes within the framework of enhancing community development efforts and meeting the needs of service projects, which contributes to improving infrastructure and basic services in the province.
He praised the efforts and support of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit to complete community initiative projects in various sectors, which motivates the local community to adopt and implement service projects that meet part of their necessary requirements.
For his part, the head of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in the province, Ahmed Nayef, explained that this support targets 25 community initiatives in the road sector in the districts of Ba'adan, Rif Ibb, Al-Syani, Dhi Al-Safal, Al-Rudma, and Yarim.
He explained that this support for priority community initiative projects contributes to achieving sustainable local development and activating the role of the community in implementing initiatives that benefit citizens.
For his part, Bandar Al-Ahdal, director of community initiatives in the province, praised the support for these vital and necessary projects that are implemented with funding from community initiatives, noting that the government's contribution in supporting them comes within the framework of strengthening the participatory work between the government and society.
He emphasized that supporting community initiatives is one of the government's priorities to promote rural and urban development through the effective participation of all parties.
