Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting held today in Sana'a, chaired by the Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Ali Shaiban, discussed the performance of health offices in the governorates and ways to improve their services.
In the meeting, which included undersecretaries of the ministry, general managers and health offices in the governorates via video conference.. Dr. Shaiban stressed the importance of concerted efforts to avoid shortcomings in the tasks of health offices and improve services in various health facilities.
He stressed the need to inventory all equipment in health facilities in various governorates, evaluate them and raise the needs of each governorate for equipment and medicines.
Minister Shiban also stressed the need for everyone to assume responsibility for advancing the health sector, monitoring the storage system and networking and its effectiveness, and activating central pharmacies in various governorates to distribute medications to patients with chronic diseases through them, or sending those medications by mail.
