Al-Washli reviewed the aesthetics of the Arabic language and its role in strengthening the culture and faith identity of the Arab and Islamic Uma, which represents one of its sources of strength, as it is the language of about 450 million people, and about two billion Muslims use it to perform their prayers and rituals.
He touched on the role of the language in enriching the various sciences of Arab scholars and writers and the achievements they have made with the world.
Shura Council member Yahya Al-Arshi said the Arabic language is a source of strength for the Arab nation and at the same time represents the language of the Holy Quran and the language of the Seal of the Prophets and Master of Messengers Muhammad - may the best prayers and peace be upon him and his family.
He explained that the celebration of the International Day of the Arabic Language aims to raise awareness of its importance and encourage everyone to use it in all scientific fields, as it will remain as long as the Holy Quran remains.
