Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting in Sana'a discussed mechanisms of cooperation between the public and private sectors to support and implement community initiatives and development projects.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim, Mayor of the Capital Dr. Hamoud Abbad, and a number of officials and businessmen, where the discussion focused on supporting the contracting sector, maintaining damaged streets, and enhancing the participation of the private sector in infrastructure projects.
The Minister of Transport and Works stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership to accelerate the pace of development, pointing to facilities to support contractors affected by the aggression. The mayor of the capital also praised the efforts of the Chamber of Commerce, such as the provision of 57 tons of iron to establish a surface bridge, stressing the importance of cooperation to achieve qualitative transformations in construction projects.
For his part, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Ali Al-Hadi stressed the importance of joint work to rehabilitate the contracting sector and make it one of the priorities of investment projects, while continuing coordination to advance development and achieve the needs of society for necessary services and projects.
