Sana'a - Saba:
First Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Miftah on Wednesday inspected the progress of two service projects in Maeen district of the Capital Sana'a, valued at 115 million riyals and funded by the local authority.
Accompanied by the Mayor of Sana'a, Dr. Hamoud Ubad, Sheikh Miftah reviewed the rehabilitation and maintenance project of Street 20, a 1,850-meter stretch from al-Sitteen Street to al-Zira'a Street intersection.
Officials from the Capital Sana'a Works and Projects Sector and the Executive Unit for Roads provided details on the 65 million riyal project. Sheikh Miftah affirmed the continuation of similar road repair and asphalting projects across various districts, funded by the local authority.
The First Deputy Prime Minister also inspected the opening and surveying of a 700-meter road linking Asr and al-Sunaynah streams in Maeen district, a 50 million riyal project.
Director of the District Abdulmalik al-Radhi explained the progress of this project, implemented by the District in cooperation with the Capital Secretariat's Public Works Sector.
Al-Radhi noted that this project is part of broader efforts by the Capital Secretariat and Maeen Local Council to open and rehabilitate main and secondary streets.
