The Grand Mufti of Al-Quds and the Palestinian Diaspora, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, announced on Tuesday that tomorrow, Wednesday, January 1, 2025, is the first day of the month of Rajab for the year 1446 AH.
The Palestinian Information Center quoted the head of the Supreme Ifta Council, in a press statement on Tuesday, as saying: "Accordingly, the fragrant anniversary of Israa and Miraj will be on Monday, the 27th of Rajab, corresponding to January 27, 2025."
Sheikh Hussein called on "Arabs and Muslims to support the Palestinians and those Almoravids in Al-Quds."
The Grand Mufti recalled the attacks on the Prophet's tomb, its buildings, courtyards and visitors, "which calls for maximum efforts to protect it, liberate it, keep vigil in it, and make pilgrimages to it."
He continued: "I ask God Almighty to return this occasion to the Arab and Islamic nations with goodness, righteousness and blessings, and to liberate the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the oppression of the Zionist enemy."
