Ibb - Saba:
The local authority in al-Mashanah district of Ibb province received on Wednesday through the Community Initiatives Department, the project to rehabilitate and pave concrete for several streets in the district from the implementing agency.
The project, which has been completed, focused on the streets of lower Mahadib area, covering an area of 1,230 square meters, with a total cost of 30 million riyals, funded by the Community Initiatives Department.
During the handover, province undersecretary Harith al-Mulaiki praised the level of implementation of community initiative projects across various service sectors in the district.
Al-Mulaiki emphasized that these projects reflect the ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and basic services, which contribute to enhancing the quality of services provided to the district’s residents.
He highlighted the importance of cooperation between government agencies and the local community in carrying out such projects, stressing that the local authority will continue to support all initiatives that contribute to the development of the district, aiming for sustainable growth and strengthening community partnerships.
On his part, Director General of Community Initiatives in the province Bandar al-Ahdal confirmed that the project is an important step towards boosting local development.
Al-Ahdal explained that the initiatives aim to meet citizens' needs by implementing sustainable development projects, adding that this project is part of ongoing efforts to enhance service quality for the local community across different sectors.
He emphasized the crucial role initiatives play in addressing societal needs, noting that the Initiatives Department works to periodically evaluate projects to ensure the desired goals are met and that citizens are well-served.
