A meeting chaired by the Director of the Health and Environment Office in the Capital Secretariat, Dr. Mutahar Al-Marouni, discussed the results of the evaluation of the implementation of the quality and infection control system in private hospitals in the Secretariat.
The meeting, which was attended by the directors of private hospitals in the Secretariat, reviewed the results of field visits to private hospitals in the Secretariat to ensure health requirements and compliance with quality standards.
At the meeting, the Director of the Health Office praised the role of private hospitals during the past period in providing health and medical services in light of the current conditions the country is going through.
He stressed the importance of hospitals' commitment to providing consultant , specialized staff , adhering to the notes circulated by the Health Office related to infection control and the implementation of the quality system.
Dr. Al-Marouni pointed out that private hospitals have the opportunity to apply the standards and quality system and adhere to infection control procedures within a month. He pointed out that the ministry has developed standards and manuals for infection control that must be adhered to, as well as medical waste management.
