Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects cold and very cold weather to continue in a number of governorates during the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that it expects very cold weather in the governorates of Dhamar, Al-Bayda, Sana'a, Amran, Saada and the highlands of Al-Dhale'e, Lahj, Marib and Al-Jawf with the possibility of frost forming in parts of them.
While the weather may be cold to very cold in the highlands of Ibb, Abyan, Hadramout, Al-Mahra and desert areas, and cold in the highlands of Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah and Taiz.
The center explained that the lowest temperatures recorded in some meteorological monitoring stations this morning were as follows: Dhamar (Rasaba): -1.6, Al-Bayda (Dhi Na'im): -0.5, Dhamar: 0.6, Amran: 1, Sana'a: 2.2, Sayun: 3.2, Ibb: 6.1 degrees Celsius.
He warned citizens in the highlands, interior plateaus and deserts of the cold and very cold weather during the night and early morning hours.
He called on farmers to take the necessary measures to protect crops from the effects of the severe cold, as well as livestock herders, beekeepers and poultry farmers to preserve them.
