Demonstration organized in front of the European Parliament headquarters in the Belgian capital, Brussels, last night called for stopping the Zionist enemy's targeting of the health sector in Gaza and for the release of the director of the Martyr Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hussam Abu Safia.

The demonstration witnessed a wide participation of health sector workers, who expressed their protest against the Israeli occupation's targeting of hospitals, ambulances and medical personnel in particular.

The demonstrators chanted slogans calling for stopping the war on the Gaza Strip and for the immediate release of Abu Safia.

Since the start of the Israeli war of extermination on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has targeted the health sector in the Strip, bombed and besieged hospitals and threatened to evacuate them, and prevented the entry of medical supplies, especially in the northern areas of the Strip, which it invaded again on October 5.

On December 28, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Abu Safiya after storming the Martyr Kamal Adwan Hospital, in addition to arresting more than 350 people who were inside it.
