Sana'a - Saba:
A training program in computer applications for 30 employees of the Yemeni Oil Company concluded on Wednesday in the capital Sana'a.
The program, which lasted 20 days, was funded and supervised by the Skills Development Fund and implemented through the Petroleum and Mineral Training Center.
Its goal was to enhance participants' skills in using computers and various software applications.
Osama al-Khatib, the company's deputy executive director for Financial and Administrative Affairs, emphasized the company's commitment to training its staff across all administrative levels to improve their competencies and overall performance.
He noted that this program is part of a broader strategy to boost computer literacy among company employees.
Jameel al-Nuaimi, Deputy Executive Director of the Skills Development Fund, highlighted that this initiative is part of the Fund’s broader efforts to provide training programs based on the needs of various public and private sector institutions.
The training included courses on word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, databases, and online tools. Participants were evaluated after each module to assess the effectiveness of the training.
