The distribution of 3,300 bags of cement to support community initiatives projects was launched today in Bani Matar district in Sana'a governorate, provided by the Central Emergency Intervention Unit in coordination with the local authority in the governorate.
The undersecretary of the governorate for the services sector, Fares al-Kahali, explained that this support comes within the framework of enhancing community development efforts and meeting the needs of service projects, especially in the field of roads.
He praised the efforts of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit to contribute to the completion of community initiative projects, which pushes the local community to implement the largest amount of community initiative projects.
The director of initiatives in the governorate, Eng. Mohammed Al-Nizari, and the Directorate of Bani Matar, Yahya Al-qunus, praised the programs to support these vital and necessary projects implemented by the community within the framework of community initiatives.. They pointed out that the contribution of the official side in supporting the initiatives falls within the strengthening of participatory work between the government and society.
For his part, the representative of the central emergency interventions unit in the governorate, engineer Osama al-Shami, explained that supporting community initiatives is one of the government's priorities to promote rural and Urban Development through effective participation from all parties. This is the fourth installment that is being distributed.
He stressed that the Central Emergency Intervention Unit is playing its role in supporting community initiatives to support roads and water projects, in response to the directions of the revolutionary and political leadership aimed at achieving comprehensive and sustainable development.
