Capitals - Saba:

Several countries late on Wednesday witnessed celebrations when a deal was reached on ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, after 15 months of genocide, epic steadfastness of the Palestinian people and heroism of their valiant resistance.

According to the Palestinian Media Center, celebrations were launched in several countries, including Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Syria and Britain, coinciding with thousands taking to the streets in areas of the Gaza Strip to express their happiness with the agreement that would put an end to the Zionist 15-month war.

In Morocco, civil society organizations, including the Moroccan Committee for Supporting the Issues of the Nation and the Moroccan Initiative for Support and Advocacy, organized celebratory events in several cities, including the capital Rabat, Casablanca, Kenitra, Oujda, Tangier, Tetouan and Agadir, according to what was reported by the Anadolu Agency.

Hundreds participated in car and mass marches, chanting slogans praising the Palestinian resistance fighters. Participants also distributed dates and sweets at some of the protests to express their joy over this agreement.

In Jordan, hundreds celebrated in the Jordanian capital, Amman, what they considered a victory for the resistance over the Zionist entity.

The celebrants carried Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian resistance, and some distributed sweets to the participants in the events.

In Tunisia, the Tunisian capital witnessed a celebration of the announcement of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. Demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and a picture of the late Hamas leader Yahiya Sinwar.

In Syria, activists reported that hundreds took to the streets in the cities of Aleppo and Hama to express their happiness over the agreement.

In Britain, activists published a video clip showing fireworks being launched in London during the celebration of what was considered a victory for the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
