Moscow - Saba:
The Russian Defense Ministry on Monday said its air defense forces destroyed 31 Ukrainian drones overnight in the Bryansk, Kaluga, Belgorod, Kursk, Ryazan, Oryol regions and the Republic of Tatarstan.
"Over the past night, the air defense forces on duty intercepted and destroyed 31 Ukrainian drones," the ministry said in a statement.
The statement added: "14 drones were shot down over the territory of the Bryansk region, six drones over the territory of the Kaluga region, three drones over the territory of the Belgorod region, three drones over the territory of the Kursk region, two over the territory of the Ryazan region, two over the territory of the Oryol region, and one over the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan."
Kiev is using terrorist methods, most notably the use of attack drones and artillery shelling against civilians and civilian facilities in Russia, in an attempt to divert attention from the failure of what it calls the "counterattack", which it had announced in June 2023.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces target, on an almost daily basis, the Russian border areas in the Republic of Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh provinces, with drones and missiles, with the aim of spreading terror among civilians.
