The Supreme Judicial Council held its weekly meeting today, headed by the Council Chairman, Judge Dr. Abdul-Momen Shuja' Al-Din.
In the meeting, the Judicial Council congratulated the steadfast Palestinian people and the entire resistance axis on the great victory achieved by Gaza and its valiant resistance in confronting the occupying Zionist enemy.
In the meeting, the Council approved imposing a penalty of delaying promotion on a judge for committing violations in his judicial position.
It also held a hearing for three judges in the disciplinary cases filed against them by the Inspection Authority, by the law.
The Council discussed the Judicial Support Fund Plan for 2025 and returned the plan to the Fund's Board of Directors to absorb the comments submitted on it by the General Secretariat of the Council, the Supreme Court, and the Office of the Attorney General so that the plan will be submitted to the Council in an upcoming meeting.
The Council reviewed the results of the review of the financial and administrative performance of the Public Prosecution submitted by the General Secretariat of the Council.
It considered several grievances from some members of the judiciary and took appropriate measures regarding them.
The Council also discussed several topics included in its agenda took appropriate decisions regarding them, and approved its previous minutes.
