Moscow - Saba:
The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Monday, that its air defense systems destroyed 32 Ukrainian drones last night in the Voronezh, Belgorod, Kursk, Oryol and Tver provinces.
The ministry said in a statement: "Last night, the air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 32 Ukrainian drones."
The statement added that "15 drones were destroyed over the territory of Voronezh province; 11 others over the territory of Belgorod province, four drones over the territory of Kursk province, and one over each of the territories of Oryol and Tver provinces."
The Ukrainian Armed Forces target, almost daily, the Russian border areas in the Republic of Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh and Rostov provinces with drones and missiles.
Kiev is using terrorist methods, primarily the use of attack drones and artillery shelling against civilians and civilian facilities in Russia, in an attempt to divert attention from the failure of what it calls the "counterattack", which it had announced in June 2023.
Since February 24, 2022, Russian forces have continued to carry out their special military operation, with the aim of disarming Ukraine and eliminating threats directed through it to Russia's security, and protecting civilians in the Donbas region, who have been subjected to persecution by the Kiev regime for eight years.
