Brussels - Saba:
The European Union expressed its concern today, Wednesday, over the escalation of the Zionist enemy's violations in the occupied West Bank, especially the continued storming of the cities of Jenin and Tulkarm.
The Union said in a statement today, Wednesday: "The increase in the number of iron gates, military barriers, and closures in the West Bank significantly disrupts the daily lives of Palestinians and limits their access to basic services. These measures undermine stability and must be removed."
It stressed that "the ongoing colonial expansion since last December and the increase in the frequency of violent attacks by Zionist settlers is very worrying." Considering that the settlements are illegal under international law and constitute an obstacle to achieving peace.
