Abu Ubaida Reveals Names of Three Zionist Prisoners to Be Released by Al-Qassam

Gaza – Saba:

Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, announced on Wednesday evening that as part of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" prisoner exchange deal, Al-Qassam has decided to release the following Zionist prisoners on Thursday: Arbel Yehud, Agam Berger, and Gadi Moshe Moses.

Earlier this evening, Hamas handed over a list of prisoners scheduled for release on Thursday from Gaza to the Zionist entity as part of the "Flood of the Free" deal.

The office of Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that "Israel" has received the list of prisoners Hamas plans to release on Thursday, stating that a detailed update would be provided to the families.

A political source told Zionist Channel 13 that the list submitted by Hamas was acceptable to "Israel."

Meanwhile, Zionist Channel 12 reported the distribution of Palestinian prisoners to be released by the occupying entity as follows:

30 prisoners serving life sentences and 20 with varying sentences in exchange for soldier Agam Berger.

30 minors and one woman in exchange for Arbel Yehud.

30 prisoners—including 27 with varying sentences and three serving life sentences—in exchange for Gadi Moses.

Thus, the total distribution of released prisoners will be:

33 prisoners serving life sentences.

47 prisoners with varying sentences.

30 minors and one woman.

The Prisoners’ Media Office confirmed that in the first phase of the exchange deal, 32 prisoners serving life sentences, 48 prisoners with long sentences, and 30 child prisoners would be released on Thursday.

On January 19, a ceasefire in Gaza took effect, with the first phase allowing negotiations for a second and third phase under the mediation of Egypt, Qatar, and the United States.

The first day of the first phase of the agreement saw the release of 90 Palestinian prisoners, including 21 children and minors, with 76 from the West Bank and 14 from East Jerusalem, whose names were published by Palestinian human rights organizations, in exchange for the release of three Israeli detainees from Gaza.

On January 26, the Zionist forces released 200 Palestinian detainees, including those serving life and long-term sentences, to the West Bank, Jerusalem, Gaza, and abroad, as part of the second phase of the prisoner exchange under the ceasefire agreement.

Last Saturday, Al-Qassam Brigades handed over four Zionist female prisoners to the International Red Cross in Gaza City as part of the second batch of prisoners released under the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, while preparations continue for the release of 200 additional Palestinian prisoners.

The first phase of the agreement, which consists of three phases, is set to last 42 days, during which 33 Zionist prisoners will be exchanged for 1,900 Palestinian prisoners.

According to the ceasefire agreement, the second batch of prisoner exchanges is expected to result in a partial withdrawal of Zionist occupation forces and the return of displaced people to northern Gaza, along with freedom of movement between the northern and southern parts of the Strip.

Two days ago, Hamas submitted a list of 25 living Zionist prisoners from among the 33 set to be released in the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.

Two groups of Zionist prisoners held by Palestinian resistance factions have already been released at different intervals as part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, in exchange for the liberation of dozens of Palestinian prisoners.

A new batch of occupation prisoners in Gaza is scheduled to be handed over on Thursday.
