Gaza - Saba:
The Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced today, Thursday, that 226 archaeological sites in the Gaza Strip were damaged by the Zionist war that affected all sites during the aggression period that lasted for 15 consecutive months.
The ministry said, in a report entitled "Inventory of damages and risks to cultural heritage sites in Gaza due to the war", that 138 sites suffered major damage, 61 of them suffered moderate damage, while 27 sites suffered minor damage, while 90 sites were listed without damage.
The report stressed that historical archaeological sites are "an important part of the history and identity of the Palestinian people on Palestinian land", accusing the Zionist enemy army of deliberately erasing and destroying this important part and the basic pillar of the Palestinian national identity.
