The spokesperson for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Tess Ingram, confirmed today, Thursday, that many physical and psychological risks face children in Gaza Strip, pointing out that one million children in Gaza Strip suffer from psychological trauma.
In a statement to Al Jazeera satellite channel, Ingram said that the living conditions faced by families in Gaza are dangerous, adding: "We need to provide drinking water, aid and blankets in Gaza."
"We are very concerned about the difficult conditions faced by the people of Gaza," she continued: "If Gaza's desalination plants are not operational, there are health risks for Gaza's children."
Tess Ingram, spokeswoman for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), said that the future of Gaza Strip is decided by the residents themselves and they are determined to rebuild what has been destroyed.
