Gaza - Saba:
The head of the government media office in Gaza, Salama Maarouf, announced today, Saturday, the martyrdom of two girls and the injury of a third child from the same family in Gaza City as a result of the collapse of a concrete wall from a house that was bombed by Zionist enemy aircraft.
Maarouf said in a brief statement: "We must expedite the entry of heavy equipment and machinery, provide fuel, and allow the arrival of specialized technical crews to deal with the rubble and debris and inspect the partially destroyed houses so that the number of martyrs stops."
The Zionist enemy forces continue to prevent the entry of heavy machinery and equipment to remove the rubble and retrieve the bodies of the martyrs, in addition to bulldozing, opening roads, and removing buildings that are susceptible to collapse.
The spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza, Mahmoud Basal, confirmed last Thursday that the Zionist enemy forces did not adhere to the humanitarian protocol.
Basal said in press statements: "No mobile homes or heavy equipment have entered the Strip."
He added: "We are living a tragedy that is getting worse every moment due to the lack of capabilities." He explained that "there is Zionist obstinacy and procrastination in bringing equipment into the Strip."
Basal continued by saying: "The mediators must intervene immediately to convince Israel to bring in equipment and fuel."
The Civil Defense spokesman said: "The humanitarian situation in the Strip is bitter and life has stopped due to the intransigence of the occupation."
Basal added: "After the residents of the north returned to their areas, they were forced to live with the corpses.. indicating that "38 corpses are under the rubble of a house in the north of the Strip and we are unable to retrieve them."
