Dutch cyclist Rick Bloemers won the Muscat Classic Cycling Race title, which was held on Friday, as part of the 2025 Oman International Tour competitions.
Belgian cyclist Jenny Bierman came in second place, and Eritrean cyclist Henok Moloiberhan came in third place.
The race started from inside Al Mouj Muscat, and the competitors then passed through a number of tourist sites that highlighted the architectural beauty of the Sultanate of Oman towards the sea street in the Wilayat of Seeb, then headed towards Al Jabal Street in the Wilayat of Amerat, then returned to Darsait, passing through Wadi Al Kabir and heading towards the areas of Yiti and Qantab, after which the competitors turned left from Al Bustan roundabout towards Sidab, and concluded in front of the State Council with a total distance of 171 kilometers.
This race is classified as a first-class one-day race in Asia, and the winner of this race gets 125 points in the points ranking for the world ranking.
It is worth noting that the Tour of Oman, since its first edition, has been able to achieve a wide public resonance and a place on the agenda of global interest in cycling, and the tour has been able to attract the most famous cyclists, world champions and the most important international teams, which has given the tour its importance as one of the most prominent international tour races that has attracted the attention of the world's professionals with the advanced results it has achieved that are comparable to other international races.
