The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed that America's imposition of sanctions on The Hague Court is a real example of gross abuse of power.

The ministry's spokesman, Esmail Baqaei, wrote in a post on the "X" platform today, Saturday, regarding the consequences of expanding US unilateral sanctions to include international organizations (the International Criminal Court) as complicity in the crimes of the Zionist entity: America's addiction to imposing its internal laws outside its borders is now targeting international institutions.

He added: Punishing the International Criminal Court for its investigation into the heinous crimes of the Zionist entity represents an unprecedented decline in the long history of American complicity and conspiracy with this occupying and racist entity, which has committed all forms of crimes with the aim of "colonial genocide" against Palestine.

He continued by saying: Imposing sanctions on the Hague Court is a real example of a gross abuse of power, aimed at granting complete immunity to the Zionist entity, and allowing it to commit more crimes, which poses a serious threat to international peace and security.

He stressed the need for the international community to realize the magnitude of this danger and take responses commensurate with its gravity.
