The prisoners' rights institutions have documented the arrest of nearly 580 Palestinian citizens by the Zionist enemy forces during the month of January, noting that the highest arrests were in the Jenin governorate and camp in the northern West Bank.
The prisoners' institutions reported in a statement Monday that the number of arrests among children reached 60 cases, while the Zionist enemy arrested 17 women.
It drew attention to the escalation of field investigations against Palestinian citizens in the West Bank, indicating that it affected hundreds of citizens.
Four detainees were martyred during last January; Two of them were martyred several months ago and they were from Gaza, but the occupation responded to their martyrdom in January 2025.
The human rights organizations stated: "Until the ceasefire date on January 19, 2025, the number of arrests during the war of extermination in the West Bank reached 14,500, not including the number of arrests from Gaza, which is estimated in the thousands."
The number of arrests among women during the war of extermination, and until the ceasefire date, was no less than 455 cases, and this does not include the number of women who were arrested from Gaza, whose number is estimated in the dozens, and among children in the West Bank, the arrests reached about 1,115 until the ceasefire date.
