A meeting chaired by Deputy Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Nasher al-Qaoud, on Monday discussed ways to improve the level of medical and health services provided to citizens.
The meeting reviewed the implementation of government priorities in the health sector, including the operation of desalination stations for kidney dialysis and the activation of central pharmacies in the governorates.
Other key areas of discussion included providing medicines for patients with chronic diseases, evaluating private health facilities and service pricing, improving health education programs.
Preparing and implementing the executive regulations for the drug and pharmacy law.
The Deputy Minister stressed the importance of enhancing the quality and efficiency of health services, improving institutional performance, and strengthening accountability within the health sector.
He also emphasized the importance of preparing for the holy month of Ramadan and utilizing this period for acts of charity and community service.
This meeting highlights the Ministry of Health's commitment to improving the quality of healthcare services and ensuring access to quality healthcare for all citizens.
