Tulkarm - Saba:
The Zionist enemy forces on Tuesday continued their aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camps (Tulkarm and Nour Shams) for the 16th consecutive day, amid a military escalation accompanied by widespread destruction of infrastructure and property, arrests, and forced displacement of thousands of residents of the camps.
The Palestinian News Agency "WAFA" reported that the Zionist enemy forces are imposing a tight siege on the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, and have increased the deployment of their vehicles and foot patrols in their surroundings and neighborhoods, amid raids on homes, a large number of which have become empty after their residents were forcibly displaced, interspersed with heavy and random live fire, especially at night.
Palestinian citizens from Tulkarm camp, who remained in their homes on the outskirts of the camp, described the situation as terrifying, as it intensified over the past three days, especially at night, with the enemy soldiers on alert as they raided homes and fired bullets and bombs inside them, accompanied by the sound of explosions, as if it were a war zone.
WAFA stated that the Zionist enemy forces continue to seize homes and tall buildings inside the camp and its surroundings, especially on Nablus Street adjacent to its northern entrance, and the Muqata'a Street that connects it to the eastern neighborhood of the city, and turning them into military barracks and sniper positions.
In addition, the Zionist enemy forces sent more military reinforcements to Nour Shams camp last night, where they were deployed in the neighborhoods of Jabal al-Salihin and Jabal al-Nasr, amid raids on homes after blowing up their doors, searching them, and destroying their contents.
The enemy forces arrested a number of young men after raiding their homes in the camp, and arrested Yousef Abu Iskandar from his home in the Dhnaba suburb, and Abdul Razzaq Awfi after raiding his home in the Iktaba suburb east of the city.
The Zionist enemy forces stormed the Nour Shams camp at dawn last Sunday, using military vehicles and heavy bulldozers, which led to the destruction of the infrastructure, including electricity, water and communications networks, in addition to the destruction of property, and imposed a tight cordon on the camp, amidst the firing of live ammunition, which resulted in the martyrdom of three citizens, including two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant.
The Nour Shams camp is witnessing a worsening humanitarian crisis, after the Zionist enemy forces forced its residents, including women, children, the elderly and the sick, to forcibly evacuate. Dozens of families were seen leaving the camp after being forced to leave their homes under threat of arms, amidst the random firing of gunfire, and the sound of explosions being heard from time to time.
The displacement movement was concentrated in the neighborhoods of Al-Maslakh, Al-Manshiya, Jabal Al-Salihin, and Jabal Al-Nasr, which became almost empty of their residents, as the Zionist enemy forces directed each group of displaced families to specific areas, distributed between the city, the suburb of Dhnaba, and the town of Anabta.
Palestinian citizens from inside the camp, especially the elderly and some families in the targeted neighborhoods, continue to appeal to the concerned authorities to intervene to save their lives, after their homes were partially demolished while they were inside them, as happened with the Al-Qasir family in Jabal Al-Salihin.
