The Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Hassan Al-Saadi, accompanied by the Undersecretary of the Higher Education Sector, Dr. Ibrahim Luqman, was briefed on the academic performance and infrastructure of Al-Rashid Smart University.
The delegation inspected the medical, pharmaceutical, and engineering classrooms and laboratories, in addition to the buildings of dental clinics and financial and business departments, and the extent of the university's commitment to academic accreditation standards. They also visited the university's teaching and investment hospital, which is built according to approved standards with a capacity of 136 beds and an area of 3,000 square meters.
The Minister listened to an explanation from the President of the University, Dr. Abdul Latif Haidar, on the university's objectives in developing academic programs according to the latest international standards, and strengthening the infrastructure to support the educational process and society through advisory and training services.
The minister praised the level of equipment at the university, stressing the importance of investing in education to support development and meet the needs of the labor market with modern specializations.
