Amran - Saba:
The Minister of Public Health and Environment, Dr. Ali Abdul Karim Shaiban, inaugurated on Wednesday the solar energy project at the Maternity, Childhood and Emergency Obstetrics Hospital in Amran, with the support of UNICEF, at a cost of $150,000.
Minister Shaiban also inaugurated the intensive care project in the pediatric department, at a cost of more than $30,000, with the support of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Maternity Hospital, along with the Director of the Health Office in the province, Dr. Mohammed Al-Houthi.
Minister Shaiban emphasized the importance of the two projects in upgrading services. He praised the efforts of the hospital administration in this regard.
He expressed readiness to provide support to the hospital according to the available possibilities, and to provide the incubator department with the necessary equipment and supplies.
