Sana'a - Saba:
The local authority and the educational sector in Sana'a province received on Wednesday from the Yemen Red Crescent Society branch the building of Imam Hussein bin Ali School in Matna area, Bani Matar district, after its completion, at a total cost of 210 thousand dollars.
The building includes two floors with 9 urban classrooms with a capacity of 726 students, administrative , service facilities, and a guard room.
He emphasized that the project will contribute to the development of the educational process by providing a school environment that stimulates creativity and normal development for male and female students.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of for the Projects and Equipment Sector, Adel Hajar, and the head of the educational sector in the province, Talib Dahan, pointed out that the educational sector in Yemen needs more such projects, which support the educational process and contribute to the development of education in all parts of the country.
The head of the Yemen Red Crescent Society branch in the province, Hussein Al-Tawil, explained that the building of Imam Hussein bin Ali School is part of the activities and programs of the risk reduction and education rescue project "Building and rehabilitating schools in Sana'a province", supported by humanitarian partners from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development through the German Red Cross.
He pointed out that the school will be provided with school benches, office furniture, blackboards and supplies, hygiene bags, in addition to distributing bags for students and teachers, and training them on many skills, in order to provide an attractive school environment capable of retaining male and female students.
