Hajjah - Saba:
The asphalt works of the main entrance road in the center of the governorate were inaugurated today in Hajjah Governorate.
The asphalt works come within the first phase of the road rehabilitation and expansion project with a length of 950 meters at a cost of $ 405 thousand, which is being implemented by the Abs Development Organization and the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development in coordination with the relevant authorities, with funding from the United Nations Development Program, within the Institutional and Economic Resilience Project in Yemen "Siri".
During the inauguration, Hajjah Governor Hilal Al-Sufi stressed the need to work according to the approved specifications and standards in implementing all stages of the project and within the specified period.
He pointed out the importance that road projects receive from the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, the Government of Change and Construction, and the local authority in the governorate.. noting the integrated efforts made in implementing sustainable development and service projects that meet the needs of the people of the governorate and alleviate their suffering.
The Director of the Engineering Unit in the Governorate, Engineer Abdullah Al-Haddad, explained that the expansion, rehabilitation and asphalt works are accompanied by construction works consisting of building retaining walls with a length of 93 metres, a width ranging from four to six metres, and a height ranging from six to 12 metres.
