Sana'a - Saba:
Researcher Mahdi Mohammed Hussein Al-Mashat received a master's degree with honors in political science, specializing in political systems, from the Faculty of Commerce and Economics at Sana'a University for his thesis titled "The September 21 Revolution , its Effects on the Republic of Yemen and the Arab Region."

The study aimed to analyze the roots of the February 11 revolution, the role of political forces in the peaceful youth revolution, assess the effects of the September 21, 2014 revolution on Yemen and the region, with a focus on external interventions and their impact on the course of events.

The discussion and judging committee, chaired by Dr. Ashwaq Ahmed Ghalis, and with the membership of: Dr. Hani Abadi Mughlas and Dr. Abdullah Mansour Hobeish, praised the content of the thesis , its findings, and recommended that the thesis be printed at the university's expense and circulated among universities.

Through the study, the researcher concluded that the September 21, 2014 revolution is a popular revolution par excellence in which all segments of the Yemenis from all spectrums participated as a necessity to prevent foreign interventions that harmed the lives of the people and encroached on the country's sovereignty, expresses the Yemeni people's history , present, and is only dangerous to those who pose a danger to Yemen and plot against it.

The study included several findings, most notably:

1- The September 21 Revolution came to stay and its roots extended to future generations and the future, and that Yemen throughout history has been and will continue to be coveted by colonizers due to its important geographical location, its diverse natural resources, and its effective human reserves.

2- That blatant foreign influence and interference is the biggest obstacle to Yemen's renaissance and development, regardless of its motives, and that this revolution exposed the falsity of the claims and lies propagated by the enemies of Yemen and showed the falsity of the disinformation carried out by the revolution enemies , and maintained international entitlements, including the safety of maritime navigation.

3- The September 21 Revolution realized the will of the Yemeni people to reject foreign tutelage, achieved freedom and independence for Yemen, and prepared the Yemeni people to confront any foreign conspiracy.

The study also recommended a number of recommendations:

1- Including the September 21 Revolution in school curricula to teach future generations its historical importance, and calling on universities and research institutions to promote studies on this revolution.

2- Documenting and immortalizing the memory of the martyrs and heroes of the September 21 Revolution, in addition to forming oversight bodies to ensure the implementation of the revolution's goals and preserve its gains. Calling on writers and creators to write about this revolution in various fields, provided that the Ministry of Culture adopts this activity.

3- Organizing seminars and scientific conferences to study the September 21 Revolution in various fields, because there are not enough studies about it, so that the Yemeni people can absorb and understand the September 21 Revolution, its objectives, the circumstances in which it came, the great sacrifices it made, and its features, characteristics, purity and importance.

4- Documenting the events of the September 21 Revolution, its leaders and participants from different groups of the Yemeni people, and constantly reminding them so that the citizen realizes the importance and necessity of this revolution, the difficulties it faced, and the goals of the hostile forces.

In his recommendations, the researcher stressed the importance of adopting all the martyrs' families , wounded of the revolution , supporting them financially , morally by the state, memorializing the memory of the heroes of the revolution and its leaders through memorials, national medals and other measures that ensure this.

The discussion was attended by a number of academics and researchers, in addition to the researcher's colleagues.
