The House of Representatives, in its session , chaired by Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, praised on Sunday the initiative of the local authority in Taiz province to open Al-Hoban road, Qasr Al-Shaab - Al-Kamb for 24 hours on the month of Ramadan occasion.
The Council affirmed that the initiative, which comes in response to the directives of the Revolution Leader Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and H.E. Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, will contribute to alleviating the suffering of citizens, calling on the other party to open the road on its side and work to facilitate the movement of citizens to and from the city of Taiz.
The Parliamentcondemned the suppression by UAE occupation forces of demonstrators denouncing the foreign presence in the archipelago of Socotra Province and the deteriorating conditions in the occupied provinces.
The Council renewed the call for unity in the face of these violations and aggressions, resistance to the occupiers , invaders and rejection of foreign tutelage until the invaders and occupiers are defeated from all Yemeni lands, islands and waters, calling for the primacy of reason and finding a peaceful solution between the sons of the nation to all political and economic issues away from foreign interference by the countries of the aggression coalition.
During the session, the Council welcomed the statements of the European Union Ambassador, Gabriel Viñales, and his assertion that stability in Yemen means stability in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Bab al-Mandab, the Red Sea and international navigation in the Suez Canal, reiterating the European Union's commitment to support the UN-led negotiations to achieve peace in Yemen.
The House of Representatives praised the positions of the Russian representative in the Security Council, in which he held the reckless decision of President Trump responsible for obstructing peace efforts in Yemen.
The Parliament also praised the statements of some US officials that "the designation of Houthi Ansarullah movement in Yemen as a terrorist organization is an unrealistic and unenforceable decision and that Ansarullah represents a purely Yemeni will."
In a related context, the Council reviewed the report of the Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries Committee on the level of government implementation of the Council's recommendations related to the committee's report on the complaint of pomegranate farmers , exporters in Sa'ada Province, and postponed its discussion of the report to a future session in the presence of the relevant government side.
