Hadiya al-Hayat Cultural Foundation, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, held on Sunday a cultural and rhetorical event in the capital Sana'a to prepare for the holy month of Ramadan.
Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali al-Yafei highlighted the event's significance, noting its timing alongside memorial services for Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safi al-Din. He acknowledged the profound loss to the Islamic nation with the passing of these two prominent figures.
Dr. al-Yafei emphasized the pivotal role played by the two martyrs in supporting the causes of the nation, aiding the oppressed, and championing the Palestinian cause.
He praised their unwavering stances on Yemeni and regional issues, recognizing them as models of sacrifice and dedication. He affirmed the continuation of their path in confronting forces of evil and oppression.
The Minister stressed the Ministry's commitment to supporting private cultural institutions, despite limited resources, and expanding partnerships to ensure the success of their programs.
He particularly emphasized initiatives aimed at promoting cultural, intellectual, and value-based development rooted in faith identity.
He outlined the Ministry's efforts to diversify cultural discourse through theater, cinema, literature, and various arts, aiming to establish a strong foundation for an Islamic civilizational renaissance in Yemen and beyond.
Head of the foundation Hiba Majidi expressed gratitude for the Ministry's support of private cultural institutions and their activities. Majidi expressed hope for expanded collaboration to enhance cultural work and raise community awareness.
