Raymah Governor Faris al-Habbari and Deputy Governor Hafedh al-Wahidi conducted on Sunday a field visit to al-Thulaya General Hospital, assessing the level of medical services provided.
They received a briefing from Director of the Province's Health Office, Dr. Mohsen al-Azizi, on the hospital's medical services across various specialties, as well as the challenges faced, including shortages in staff, medicine, and medical supplies.
The officials also inspected the Nutritional Stability Center, supported by the International Relief Organization, which treats acute and severe malnutrition cases.
Center's official Dr. Zaid al-Hawri explained the services provided to malnourished children.
Governor al-Habbari emphasized the need to intensify efforts, enhance patient care, and improve medical and health services.
He stressed the importance of addressing the challenges hindering the hospital's operations.
