Today, Sunday, the Zionist occupation forces fired their weapons intensively at the homes of Palestinian citizens east of Al-Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
Palestinian media reported that in a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement, intensive shooting took place towards the homes of citizens east of Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, coinciding with the movement of Israeli tanks east of the town of Abasan Al-Kabira east of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip.
The media indicated that the shooting extended to include the Philadelphi axis on the border with Egypt.
The daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip showed that ten Palestinian martyrs arrived at the hospitals of the Strip, seven of whom were recovered, a martyr succumbed to his wounds, and two new martyrs in addition to four wounded during the past 48 hours.
The death toll from the Zionist aggression rose to 48,329 martyrs and 111,753 wounded since October 7, 2023 AD.
On the political level, Hamas considered the Zionist entity’s postponement of the release of Palestinian prisoners who were scheduled to be released in exchange for the six Israeli prisoners, a blatant violation of the ceasefire, calling on mediators to intervene to oblige the occupying entity to abide by the terms of the deal.
