Sana'a - Saba:
The Customs Authority inaugurated the electronic payment of customs receipts through the electronic payment system "CAC Bank" at Al-Hodeida and Saleef customs ports.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Customs Authority explained that this launch includes the electronic payment of all customs receipts at the two customs and the suspension of manual payment through paper checks for all types of payments.
It stressed that this step comes in the context of the developments witnessed by the department in the field of digital transformation and automation of various customs procedures, noting that electronic payment contributes to facilitating procedures for private sector partners, enhancing transparency and preserving public money.
