The Shura Council on Wednesday condemned in the strongest terms the criminal Netanyahu's decision to prevent the entry of humanitarian and relief aid into the Gaza Strip.
In a statement issued by it, the council considered this step a war crime and collective punishment against the residents of the Strip, which comes within the ongoing crimes of the Zionist enemy and its blatant and flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law and a dangerous escalation that threatens to undermine the truce and ceasefire agreement.
It pointed out that the Zionist occupation continues to commit war crimes against the Palestinian people, disregarding all international and humanitarian covenants.
The Shura Council warned the Zionist enemy of the consequences of continuing its crimes against the Palestinian people and violating the truce agreement, pointing out the steadfastness of Yemen's position in supporting Palestine, and that the Yemeni armed forces are ready to resume military operations against the usurping entity if the enemy continues to violate the truce agreement.
The Council's statement called on Arab and Islamic countries to take serious positions and move to break the siege of the Zionist enemy and bring in humanitarian aid, food and medicine to the besieged Gaza Strip.
