Minister of Information Hashem Sharaf al-Din stressed the need for integrated media operations and the development of media capabilities. He welcomed initiatives and ideas to improve media performance, emphasizing a unified message and teamwork.
The Minister highlighted the spiritual significance of Ramadan and the importance of countering enemy efforts to distract the nation from worship and reflection. He criticized hostile media outlets for promoting trivial content that undermines spiritual values.
He emphasized the significance of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi's Ramadan lectures, which draw lessons from Quranic stories relevant to contemporary challenges. He underscored the need to counter the media deception of "forces of hegemony and arrogance," particularly in light of current events such as the displacement of Palestinians.
Minister Sharaf al-Din praised the role of Yemeni media professionals in defending the nation and confronting enemy narratives, even with limited resources. He stressed the increased responsibility of media cadres in addressing global issues and countering misinformation.
He directed the allocation of media spaces to discuss challenges facing Arab and Islamic peoples and to confront Zionist media efforts to portray enemies as allies and distort the image of Islam. He condemned the use of historical distortions to sow discord among Muslims.
The Minister reiterated the importance of confronting the "Zionist media" and their supporters who try to paint America and Occupation in a positive light, while demonizing those who defend the nation. He stressed the importance of unity in the face of these media efforts.
