Moscow - Saba:
Russian police announced today, Wednesday, the killing of four ISIS militants in a security operation carried out by anti-terrorism forces in the Republic of Dagestan, North Caucasus.
The Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee stated in a statement that Russian forces killed four ISIS militants in Dagestan, confirming that the dead were planning to carry out an attack on a facility affiliated with the Ministry of Interior in the city of Kaspiysk, located on the western coast of the Caspian Sea.
It indicated that the militants exchanged fire with regular forces, which led to their deaths on the spot, adding that the region "has been repeatedly exposed to bloody violence and terrorist attacks."
It is worth noting that the Russian Federal Security Service constantly announces its thwarting of attempts to target oil facilities and security and military institutions in Dagestan by ISIS militants.
