Tehran - Saba:
The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the ongoing Zionist aggression and blockade on the Gaza Strip, stressing that "these crimes constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity."
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei noted in a statement on Friday that "the intensified Zionist attacks on Palestinian refugee camps and temporary settlements in Gaza are an objective example of a war crime and a crime against humanity." He called for "decisive international action to prosecute and punish the leaders of the Zionist regime for genocide and war crimes."
Baghhaei criticized "the UN Security Council's inaction regarding these crimes," and emphasized "the complicity of the United States and some European countries, which continue to provide military aid to the Zionist regime, in the crimes committed in Gaza."
