Al-Kabous Company team secured a 1-0 victory over al-Shorta in the 40th Sana'a Ramadan Ahli League, while al-Tasheeh triumphed over al-Shaab with the same scoreline.
The first match saw a goalless first half, with Al-Kabous captain Sufyan al-Sufyani scoring the decisive goal from a penalty kick in the second half.
The second match ended with a 1-0 victory for al-Tasheeh, with substitute Ahmed Nour scoring the only goal with a header.
With these results, al-Kabous and al-Tasheeh both earned three points, sharing the lead of the first group with Kamran Company and al-Shaab. Al-Shorta is at the bottom of the standings without points.
The league continues tomorrow, Friday, with Al-Rawda Company facing al-Ahli youth and May 22 playing against Zenim Company in the second group.
