Hajjah - Saba:
Ramadan Sports Championship, featuring football, volleyball, and taekwondo, commenced in Hajjah province on Thursday.
The championship is organized by federation branches under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office in the province.
The championship features:
Football:
12 adult teams, divided into four groups.
8 junior teams, divided into three groups.
Volleyball:
9 participating teams.
Taekwondo:
22 participating players, competing in 6 weight categories.
The opening adult football match saw Martyr Abu Abdullah defeat Soqour Naaman 6-0 in the first group. In the junior category, Sumoud defeated Gaza 4-1.
The tournament will continue with further matches, including al-Ameed vs. al-Qassam (adults) and al-Hilal al-Ahmar vs. al-Qaqa in the third group.
Additionally, province undersecretary Adel Shali and Director of the Youth and Sports Office Murad Rajih honored the Martyr Abu Abdullah team, winners of the Martyr Leader Championship, as well as the runner-up Al-Fajr team, and individual award winners.
