The representative of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in Hajjah province, Abdul Wahab, inspected all the projects of community initiatives supported by the Interventions Unit in a number of districts in the province.
The representative of the unit, along with the supervision and evaluation officer, Engineer Ramah Shamsan, reviewed the work progress on the project of the initiative to pave "Al-Raqaa Shamsan" road in Mahabsha district, which began work on digging foundations for water drains in preparation for the concrete pouring of the road, as well as the work progress on the project of the initiative to expand and pave "Al-Qarana" road in the center of the directorate, where rock cutting work has been carried out to expand the road.
Together with the director of Muftah Directorate, Ahmed Al-Banous, they inspected the progress of work on the project of the initiative to reopen and expand the "Al-Asimiya - Al-Waliya - Al-Mahnouj" road in the upper Al-Jabr district and the requirements to support the community effort in the project by maintaining the slitting mechanism used in the project.
The unit representative discussed with the director of Muftah Directorate the current status of community initiatives in the directorate, the achievement level in them, and the difficulties facing the completion of the implementation of some of these projects.
He explained that these visits, which took place over the past five days, aim to mobilize the role of the community in the construction and development process, especially in the fields of roads , water, to see the progress of work in community initiative projects and the needs of citizens for priority projects.
He stressed that the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Administration, Local and Rural Development will continue to support community initiative projects and keep pace with the community effort in these projects to ensure the continuation and completion of work on them, which contributes to providing basic services to citizens and alleviating their suffering.
