Tehran - Saba:
Iranian security forces in Sistan and Baluchestan announced the dismantling of two terrorist cells consisting of nine individuals, before carrying out any sabotage operations.
The operation took place within the framework of the "Security Martyrs" exercises, and in cooperation between the Revolutionary Guards, the Internal Security Forces, and the Provincial Security Directorate. The operation resulted in the seizure of weapons, ammunition and communication tools, and revealed that some of the detainees received four months of cross-border training.
These groups aim to "destabilize security, spread panic and impede development" in southern Sistan and Baluchestan. The success was thanks to "intensive security coordination" and the cooperation of local leaders.
