The General Department of Women's Affairs at the Awqaf Authority, in cooperation with the Women's Authority in Amanat Al-Asimah and Al-Noor Scientific Center, commemorated the 18th anniversary of the death of the scholar Majd Al-Din bin Muhammad Al-Mu'aidi.
The Director General of Women's Affairs stressed that the commemoration of this anniversary is a tribute to science and scientists, and a reminder of their fragrant biography that returns the nation to its correct approach.
She praised the excellence of the Allama Al-Mu'ayyad in science and knowledge and his role in supporting the truth and spreading enlightened thought.
The event also reviewed his role in graduating prominent scholars, such as the martyr leader Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi and Sayyid al-Qaid Abdul Malik al-Houthi, who had a great impact on the Qur'anic process.
For her part, the director of the Women's Commission spoke about the emergence of Imam al-Mu'aidi, pointing to his combination of science and jihad, and his defense of religion against deviant ideas.
Cultural activist Bushra al-Houthi stressed the need to follow the example of scientists and emphasize the importance of science in the renaissance of the nation. The event included chanting segments and awareness flashes about the scholar Majd Al-Din Al-Mu'aidi.
