Taiz Acting Governor, Ahmed Al-Masawi, inspected the progress of work on the first phase of the restoration, maintenance and asphalt project of the (Suwayda Market) street, which is implemented by the executive unit in the province at a cost of 57 million riyals, funded by the local authority.
Al-Masawi, along with the head of the province's works sector, Engineer Bakil Hamid, the director of the Mawiya district, Abdul Salam Hashim, and the director of the executive unit, Hussam Al-Fatash, reviewed the work progress of filling excavations and removing waste from Al-Suwayda market in preparation for laying the asphalt layer.
The works official stressed the importance of intensifying work during the Holy Month , adhering to the required specifications , standards and the specified time period for the project completion.
For his part, the director of the executive unit explained that the work on the rehabilitation, restoration and asphalt of Suwayda Market Street is proceeding at a high pace.
The acting governor of Taiz, along with Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Khaled, the assistant of the fourth military region, and the two officials in charge of works and the executive unit, were briefed on the final finishes of Taiz General Hospital in Al-Jund, which will be opened in the coming period.
He also inspected the hospital's vital facilities, including the incinerator for medical and therapeutic waste.
The acting governor inspected the final finishes of the annex of Taiz province building , its needs for equipment and furniture.
