Gaza - Saba:

The International Committee to Support the Rights of the Palestinian People (Hashad) on Tuesday condemned the resumption of the Zionist enemy forces' genocidal war and aggression against the Gaza Strip, with open American support.

In a statement, Hashad noted that more than 120 warplanes launched a series of continuous, violent, and brutal raids at dawn today on various areas of the Gaza Strip, targeting tents, civilian homes, and some schools used as shelters for forcibly displaced persons who lost their homes. This was accompanied by artillery shelling along the border areas.

The Committee explained that this bombing resulted in a series of heinous massacres against Palestinian families, seven of whom were removed from the civil registry. According to a preliminary toll, the attacks resulted in the deaths of 254 citizens and the injury of dozens of others, most of whom were described by medical sources as critical due to burns and amputations.

Hashad stated that the remaining hospitals, which are partially operating, are unable to accommodate these families and provide them with the required health services due to the enemy forces' destruction of the health sector.

It noted that the majority of the victims are children, women, and the elderly, a fact that brings to mind the scenes of the previous and ongoing aggression and genocide, which claimed the lives of approximately 65,000 martyrs and missing persons, and injured more than 112,000, 70% of whom are children and women.

Hashad stated that the enemy's crimes and the statements of Zionist and American officials demonstrate contempt for the Palestinians' right to life. Furthermore, these statements and actions amount to brutal international crimes that completely contravene all rules of international humanitarian law and the customs of war, especially the Geneva Conventions, the Hague Conventions, and the Rome Statute establishing the International Criminal Court.

It added that all evidence and facts demonstrate that the enemy deliberately violated the ceasefire agreement, which was signed under Egyptian, Qatari, and American sponsorship and entered into force on January 17, 2025, by refusing to abide by the agreement's phases and commitments.

The results of the international body's monitoring revealed repeated violations, which resulted in the deaths of 164 civilians and the injury of 640 others. The body also prevented and obstructed the entry of humanitarian aid, health equipment, medicines, heavy equipment, temporary homes, and tents, and completely closed the Gaza Strip crossings since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

Hashad emphasized that this reality has turned the lives of civilians into a humanitarian hell and hindered the efforts of international organizations to maximize humanitarian response and recovery efforts, under the pretext of pressuring resistance factions to release their prisoners. This is despite all evidence indicating the enemy government's failure to honor its commitments under the ceasefire agreement and its continued desire to continue the war and aggression.

This is to preserve Netanyahu's rule and the cohesion of the ruling fascist Yemeni coalition, achieve its goals of liquidating the Palestinian cause and displacing the population of the Gaza Strip, and divert attention from the internal crises that successive Zionist governments have traditionally resolved at the expense of Palestinian blood.

Hashad considered that such deliberate and premeditated crimes aim to create chaos and exacerbate the humanitarian crises in the Gaza Strip.

Hashad held the enemy and the United States responsible for violating the ceasefire agreement, committing international crimes, and committing serious violations in the Gaza Strip.

It warned of the consequences of the international community's silence and inability to stop the enemy's crimes, which allows it to continue and expand its military offensive, commit massacres, claim the lives of victims, destroy civilian tents and homes, shelters, and service facilities, and perpetuate the catastrophic suffering of the people of Gaza.

It emphasized that the enemy's claims and justifications for resuming the war of genocide, apart from being illegal and immoral, are false justifications aimed at justifying the killing of civilians, especially children and women, and the destruction of civilian facilities that the occupation has converted into military targets.

It stated that the continuation of the brutal military attacks on the Gaza Strip portends a dire humanitarian disaster whose consequences cannot be remedied, especially since they coincide with the devastated health sector, which is only partially functioning, in addition to the ongoing blockade, collective punishment, and the 17-day denial of humanitarian aid, fuel, and medical supplies to the Strip.

It explained that this has led to the closure of most bakeries and free food banks, the disappearance of most food commodities from the markets, and the cessation of most humanitarian services due to power outages and the prevention of fuel imports. This has led to the spread of disease, the resurgence of famine and thirst caused by the lack of clean water, and a shortage of medicines and treatment for the sick and wounded, potentially leading to a rise in the death rate among civilians.

Hashad called on the international community, the United Nations, international and regional organizations, third countries, and the free people of the world to take urgent action to stop the crimes of genocide and the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip before it is too late.

It called for the use of all international protection mechanisms, including the establishment of a peacekeeping mission to protect civilians from the crime of genocide, and for all forms of solidarity with the Palestinians, especially the residents of the Gaza Strip, who are victims of the ongoing genocide. This should be done by activating all political, diplomatic, legal, and popular efforts, and by applying various forms of pressure to impose sanctions on the enemy and expedite procedures for holding its leaders, soldiers, and accomplices accountable before international courts.

It called for halting the export of arms and ammunition to Israel, enhancing the implementation of international humanitarian law, preserving Palestinian lives, providing them with protection, and alleviating their suffering resulting from the use of starvation. It emphasized the need to open humanitarian corridors to allow the evacuation of the wounded and ensure the flow and entry of medical supplies, humanitarian and relief aid, and fuel needed to operate generators for hospitals, ambulances, and civil defense vehicles.
