Hajjah - Saba:
A Ramadan evening was held in Aflah Al-Sham District, Hajjah Governorate, to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (PBUH), with the presence of several officials and local leaders.
Colonel Hassan Al-Qasimi, Director of the Governorate’s Security, emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from this tragic event and the hardships that befell the Muslim nation afterward. He stressed the need for a sincere return to God, adherence to the Holy Quran, and renewing allegiance to Imam Ali (PBUH).
Speakers highlighted Yemen’s role in supporting the Palestinian cause and defending the oppressed in Gaza, praising the leadership of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi in confronting aggression and current challenges.
Dr. Abdullah Miyah, Dean of the Quran University Branch in the Governorate, discussed Imam Ali’s legacy, his role in upholding Islam, and the great loss suffered by the Muslim nation after his martyrdom. He emphasized that commemorating this event strengthens the connection with Ahlul Bayt and serves as an opportunity to follow Imam Ali’s ethics, courage, wisdom, and asceticism.
Miyah also underscored the need to adhere to the Muhammadan path, remain steadfast, and continue mobilization efforts in support of Al-Aqsa, while encouraging youth participation in summer courses.
The evening concluded with traditional and cultural performances, attended by local officials and community leaders.
