Moscow - Saba:
Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, in a statement reported by the website "Strana.ua," questioned the powers of the Ukrainian delegation holding talks with the US side in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
According to him, the decree by former Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko, which stipulates that Kyiv representatives at this level must receive specific instructions from the country's leadership before taking any action, remains in effect, according to the Russian RT channel.
Poroshenko said: "The decree stipulates that without instructions and directives, only three people in the state have the right to speak, make statements, and conduct negotiations on behalf of Ukraine: the president, the prime minister, and the minister of foreign affairs, within the scope of their powers. The others require instructions. We have not heard anything about approving the powers of the delegation members."
