Kyiv - (Saba):
Ukrainian authorities announced that a Russian missile attack targeted the capital, Kyiv, on Sunday, wounding three people and causing explosions in several areas where Ukrainian air defenses are operating.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that ambulances were dispatched to several areas of the city, while fires and injuries were reported in the Darnytskyi district.
In the same context, Russia targeted the city of Mykolaiv in southern Ukraine, wounding three women and causing fires in several homes. The attack came a day after 19 people were killed in airstrikes on the city of Kryvyi Rih.
Separately, the Ukrainian Air Force announced that it shot down 13 missiles and 40 Russian drones during the night attack, while the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that it shot down 11 Ukrainian drones over the Kursk, Belgorod, and Rostov regions of Russia.
